1-ply

Who invented 1-ply? Does anybody actually like it?

David has unfortunately come home from the store with TWELVE rolls of 1-ply toilet paper. I'm thinking of leaving some surreptitiously at friends houses.

Don't you love it when the husband tries to help? :) Jon's mom buys 1-ply and I can't stand it. No savings there - - you just use twice as much!

I hate going to my parent's house because my Dad only buys one-ply too! You could always donate it to the local Young Mens or Young Womens group... I'm sure they could find a late night clandestine use for it. (Or at least... we always did when I was that age...)

I bought a case of 1-ply once about 3 years ago. I thought I was getting a super deal on a high quality national brand (didn't even think to check if it was 1-ply). The final roll was used 2 months ago. With 4 bathrooms, my strategy was to have "good" toilet paper in the master bath only. Sorry to my students and family who had the joy of using those other bathrooms :) I suggest you use your 1-ply as part of a Kitchen/Bath shower gift. But maybe not if you want them to stay friends with you.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.
